Map change

A very interesting change has been made to the “World Map” inFrontierVille, one that reveals Zynga’s plans for future expansion releases and unreleased areas. Of course, it’s early on and we can only share our opinion (so nothing officially confirmed here), but it all seems to be very exciting. Until we get to that point, check out the new FrontierVille World Map below (click to enlarge):

So, we don’t know exactly if we are talking here about future updates to the Pioneer Trail itself (it would not make much point) or updates to the game itself. I tend to believe it’s the latter because we can see:
- a Haunted Graveyard in the lower right corner, most likely suggesting an incoming Halloween update.
- a mine with a skull near it, meaning new adventures
- a rift ???
- in the upper left corner it’s Fort courage, most likely, meaning that we’ll finally get that final area in the Pioneer Trail soon
The good thing is that all these will most likely mean new areas for us to visit instead of simple updates, because they’re placed on the World Map and maps involve traveling, right?
So it all seems to be extremely exciting – we’ll sure let you know as soon as we have more about the new FrontierVille World Map and the upcoming new areas.
