Clearing Cache in Firefox

To clear the cache in Firefox simply click tools at the top of your browser and then go to "clear recent history" as shown below.

You will then see the below in a "pop-up" make sure the "Time range to clear" is set to everything and the boxes are ticked as the below image illustrates.

Click "Clear now" and wait patiently as it performs the clean up. When it is completed simply close down your browser and restart it for the changes to take effect.

Clearing chrome Cache

I have been asked about how to clear your cache in chrome. Doing this can fix some but not all problems within Frontierville (and many other games that use flash).

1. In the top right of your browser, click the "spanner" icon and then click "options"

2. When that appears on the far left you will see "under the bonnet". click that and you will see the screen below.

3. At the top click "Clear browsing data" and you will see the screen as show below.

4. Tick all the boxes as I have done and make sure the "obliterate the following items from" says from the beginning of time. ( no It won't erase all proof that Jesus existed :P lol) and then click "Clear browsing data" - This can take some time so go make a tea or coffee and come back.

5. At the bottom of that same panel you can see a blue "hyper link" (which is a link to a webpage) "Adobe Flash Player settings" click that link and the below screen will appear in a new browsing tab

6. Simply click the delete all sites button on the right hand side above the list of sites visited.

After all steps have been completed close your browser (Chrome) and then restart it, Frontierville should now run a bit better, it may also ask you if it can store images on your pc again, just allow it.

These steps are recommended ONCE every WEEK.

New trees

The release of the new in-game feature, the Orchard (as well as the option to store trees inside) has been followed by the launch of a set of six new trees that we can either purchase from the market or receive (and send) as free gifts to our friends – something that many players have been asking for in the past and overall a new series of items that will certainly be appreciated!

Let’s start with the freebies, since these are most welcomed in FrontierVille: the cool looking White Peach Tree, Green Apple tree and Sour Cherry Tree (all available to be sent as free gifts):

If that’s not enough for you and you have some Horseshoes to spend, you can purchase three new types of trees from the FrontierVille market: Raspberry Bush, Plum Tree or Almond Tree, each for the price of 30 HS a piece. Pretty expensive, especially since these special trees can only be watered with water from the Well!

5 New collections

The massive update that is still rolling out slowly in FrontierVille today sees the release of 5 new collection in the game, but this time ones that are worth completing for the trade in rewards. Read on to find out everything about the new collections that went live in FrontierVille, as well as the rewards you can get from trading them in!

FrontierVille Almond Collection

FrontierVille Plum Collection

FrontierVille Raspberry Collection

FrontierVille Big Barn Collection

All about the upgrade

The release of the Livestock Pen in FrontierVille was not enough for many players since the large animals were still there taking a lot of space on our homesteads. However, Zynga has decided to address that problem as well by introducing the Big Barn in FrontierVille, a new building that will replace the old Barn and allow us to store inside Oxen, Cows, Mules and Horses.

I am sure you are curious to find out everything about the Big Barn upgrade in FrontierVille, so let’s start by checking out the requirements for completing it (yes, more building materials and requests!)

- 15 each of Stable Stall, Calf Blanket and Silo (send direct requests)
- 20 each of Bricks, Paint Buckets and Oak Beam

After completing the Big Barn upgrade in FrontierVille, you will be allowed to start storing large animals inside (200 each of cows and oxen are permitted to be stored inside and 20 each of Horses and Mules).

In a similar way to how the Livestock Pen works, when you collect the daily bonus from the Big Barn, you get the chance to get as a reward a new animal, like the White Horse, Black Mule, Black Cow or White Ox.

All in all, a really nice upgrade at least from the fact that we can start storing the big animals too and therefore free up some more space on the homestead!

More Upgrades

Big Barn series of missions that you will love to complete, especially since at the end you will be allowed to store the big animals (Horses, Mule, Oxen and Cows) inside!

FrontierVille Legends III: Johnny Appleseed Plants His Seed

FrontierVille Legends III: Johnny Appleseed Plants His Seed. It’s a tad more difficult since it involves visiting neighbors, but all in all I’m sure we’ll be able to complete it sooner than expected.

Here are the requirements for completing the Frontierville Legends III: Johnny Appleseed Plants His Seed mission:

- Tend 80 Apples on your Neighbors’ homesteads
- Have 20 Apple Seeds (get them from neighbors)
- Plat 5 Apple Trees

You have 15 days to complete this mission and I believe that it’s more than enough, and after doing so, you will receive a nice reward: 750 XP, 5 Apple Ready Boosts and One Golden Apple Tree

FrontierVille Legends II: Calamity Jane’s Shootin’ Show mission.

FrontierVille Legends II: Calamity Jane’s Shootin’ Show mission.

I am sure you are really curious to see what are the requirements for this mission, as well as the rewards, so let’s check them out below:

- Collect Three Bonuses from the Inn
- Tend 50 Apple Trees
- Get 20 Wide-Eyed Chickens

The Wide-Eyed chickens are unfortunately just items that you collect from neighbors and not actual funny animals to place on the homestead. The rest is really simple to complete…

If you manage to finish the requirements for the FrontierVille Legends II: Calamity Jane’s Shootin’ Show mission in less than 10 days (the time required to complete the mission), then you will be rewarded with 750 XP, 1 Queasy Chicken (this time a new chicken!) and 5 Chicken Ready Boosts. Pretty nice, all in all!

saloon quests

Mission 1

So let’s start by checking out the requirements for the first mission in the Saloon series, If You Build It, They Will Drink!

- Purchase Saloon
- Tend 20 Apple Trees on Your Homestead
- Harvest 20 Corn on Your Homestead

Pretty simple and mostly consists of getting you closer to finishing a Canning Master mission than anything else.

Completing the If You Build It, They Will Drink FrontierVille mission will reward you with 150 Food and an Oat Syrup.

Mission 2

In other words, here is what you need to do in order to complete the Belly up to The Bar, Boys mission:

- Purchase a State License: 100,000 coins
- Harvest 30 potatoes
- Collect 10 Saloon Permits

The salon permits are obtained by asking your neighbors and everything else is fair game and extremely simple to do. So this is obviously a mission series for those who don’t like them to be difficult.

After completing the Belly up to The Bar, Boys mission in FrontierVille, you will receive a reward of 200 food and you’ll unlock the Quick Draw Quaff.

Mission 3

- Collect Ten Oat Syrup Drinks in in Saloon
- Collect Ten Filtered Water Drinks in Saloon
- Consume One Granny’s Gut Punch in Saloon

These are all things that you can do in the Saloon building itself, so please check back soon to read our guide for the FrontierVille Saloon to find out about each of these drinks.

After completing the Set Em Up Joe mission in Frontierville, you will receive a reward of 1 Spittoon and 1 Mule Kick Mix.

Mission 4

- Purchase Ten Lunches
- Consume Quick Draw Quaff in Saloon
- Collect Ten Bartending Guides

This is definitely a lot easier than the previous mission since the Bartending Guides come from your neighbors and you already have the Quick Draw Quaff from the previous mission.

Soon to be able to store buildings....

Zynga has decided to finally give us the option we’ve been asking for since a very long time: buildings can be stored in the Storage Shedand therefore some very valuable extra space will be available on our homesteads. Even better, the buildings will be there for us and there will be no need to build them once more if there’s a need for that.

However, not all the FrontierVille buildings can be stored! Here is a list of buildings that can be placed in the Storage Shed:

- WaterWell
- Barn
- Storage Shed
- Chicken Coop
- General Store
- Schoolhouse
- BarberShop
- Ponderosa Lodge
- Doctor’s Office
- Finkertons Agency
- Groundhog Trap
- Beehive
- NYE Dance Floor

shower missions

I must admit that I thought that the McBaggins goals were the only ones we had to complete before heading towards the Oregon Trail, but it appears that I was completely wrong: there are more, as well as buildings to be built and one of them is now live in the game: the FrontierVille Shower for Lt. Flintlock. As always, I have the guide for this building to share with you, so please check it out below to learn everything about the Shower in FrontierVille.

The story says that Lt. Flintlock have settled camp near our homesteads while traveling to Fort Courage (the final point of The Oregon Trail) and they need to take a shower. Of course, as you know, we don’t have such a building, so we must first build it. So here are the requirements for completing the Shower in FrontierVille:

- 15 Pull Chain
- 15 Clay Reservoir
- 15 Privacy Cloth
- 10 Rusty Faucet
- 10 Bath Robe
- 10 Towel Rack

So it won’t be too easy, but it will be done sooner or later (you should try to finish it ASAP though).

After completing the shower, you will be allowed to allow the soldiers take a shower every 8 hours and in the process they might drop extra energy, XP and coins, as well as water well building parts or water-themed animals. They sure are dirty!

Good luck building your shower in FrontierVille and check back really soon for the Shower Missions!

Here are the requirements for the Support the Troops mission in FrontierVille:

- Harvest 30 Potatoes
- Place the Shower
- Craft 1 Sawhorse in the Barn

Here are the requirements for completing the Sweet Smelling Soldiers mission in FrontierVille:

- Chop Trees 20 Times on your Homestead or a Neighbors’
- Harvest 50 Peppermint
- Collect 10 Soap Dishes

- Craft 3 Fancy Clothing
- Hire 5 Neighbors
- Visit 15 Neighbors

Here are the requirements for completing the It’s Scrubbin’ Time mission in FrontierVille:

- Clean Soldiers 3 Times
- Collect 15 Loofahs
- Have or Collect 2 Downy Feathers

Either way, back to our mission, here are the requirements for completing the Who’s That Redhead mission in FrontierVille:

- Tend 20 Non-Rideable Horses on your Homestead or your Neighbors’
- Collect 5 Daily Bonuses from the Barn
- Harvest 40 Pink Roses
