all about the dogs....

In order to start training your Dog, you must first complete the Dog Kennel building on your homestead and go inside it, where you will see three possible skills your dog can learn. Please note that you can’t start teaching your skills to your dog until it reaches adult status (you must feed it Chunky Chow to get it there):

- Hunting Skill (read about the Hunting Skill Missions here)
- Herding Skill (read about the Herding Skill Missions here)
- Digging Skill (read about the Digging Skill Missions here)

Each of these skills your dog can learn is achieved by completing a series of missions (three new missions for each skill) and after that, you will have to complete a new mission for each skill that actually shows you the dog doing what he or she had learned. I will post have posted articles about the missions for each skills.

At the moment, it is unclear if you can teach a dog all the three skills, but chances are that you can – especially since all these missions are repeatable, meaning that you can train more dogs!

Just remember that you can now (and should, for completing the training missions) activate your dog and control it as you control the in-game avatars, by clicking the dog and selecting the “Activate the dog” option. It will be the main character and you’ll be able to perform tasks with it. When you are done, you should click it again and select the “Stay” option, as seen below:
